Phase 2
Once the script was completed it was important to bring the narrative back to those who understood its characters.

Bridge + tunnel worked with youth refugees and migrants who developed the characters, added nuances and textures and explored their own issues through media practice through drama and documentary.

The website features several sections including a
short documetary and a collection of oral histories.

Asha : Hope is a short drama which looks at a young girls experience after she arrives from Uganda to live in the U.K.

Rwanda to Newcastle is a coming of age documentary which looks at a young girls journey and how she overcomes the traumas she faced from the Rwandan war, and subsequently arrive in Newcastle.
